In a time before humanity was even born, multiple gods existed; Wealth/Plutus, Strength/Kratos, Speed/Hermes, Life/Phanes, Fire/Hephaestus, Astra/Psyche, Puff/Nephthys and Flux/Poseidon. Every 100,000 years, they held meetings. these meetiings were on the subject of how to evenly balance all the elements in the universe. (They didnt talk about the humans usually, since they didnt even exist until 3 trillion years after.) When the humans did eventually form, they took a turn for the worse; being greedy and selfish and ruinous. Though the gods didnt interfere as they thought humanity was able to sort itself out. The only mortals able to communicate with the gods were ones called "Prophets"/"Disciples"/"Shamans". Currently, there is one main prophet interacting and influencing the gods. Who strives to cause chaos; a mysterious force. Its unknown who this prophet could even be, though they usually appear for certain events relative to the gods or the gems. These gods were also possibly associated with one of the 7 deadly sins - Greed (Wealth), Lust (Life), Wrath (Strength), Gluttony (Fire), Pride (Astra), Sloth (Speed), Envy (Puff), as Flux is relatively a new god, he embodies no sins. Perhaps either that or there is secretly a god trying to help us, acting as "Hope" (When the sins were released, a single thing was left in pandoras box. Hope.)
